Purposed for Him...

Watch out!!!

Life for me at the moment is exhausting and actually quite stressful.

I am confronted with many attempts of the enemy who is trying to disrupt and destroy relationships between my children and I, and between my children too. And, I seem to be adding my bit of distasteful fuel instead of dousing the fire. It is a case of the flesh going against the will of the spirit. I want peace and tranquility but it's not what is happening, on the contrary. Now, I know the Bible talks about this as follows...

• Psalm 50:20
  You sit and speak against your brother; You slander your own mother’s son.
  
  
• Micah 7:6 
  For son dishonors father, Daughter rises against her mother, Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; A man’s enemies are the men of his own household.
  
• Luke 12:53   
  Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

...but, I never ever considered that the enemy would attempt a no win attack of this nature on my life!

It's a known fact that the enemy is fighting a battle that he has already lost, but, he is the dark evil prince of deceit, and his mission on earth is to steal, kill and destroy...

•  John 10:10
  The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

...and even though I have the protection of my Awesome God, Jesus Christ, whom I follow, believe in and serve, it still is an awful and painful life event to endure. Satan will fail as he dismally tries to use many of us in his soul destroying, heart breaking and disruptive plan, as he attempts to mess with each according to weaknesses, trying to set off wrong belief triggers. His desire is to arouse heated tension and then send careless bullets of destruction flying around, to cause ugly and painful chaos.

However, in all that is going on, my strength is found in my victorious Saviour, Jesus Christ whom I am looking to for comfort away from all the evil turmoil. He is my Only hope in a world that is boasting so much demonic evil destruction. Satan has lost but is trying in every way possible to bring us down. But the Author of Proverbs 24 offers comfort as I read the God breathed words that he penned...

• Proverbs 24:14                                                                                                                                   So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul;If you have found it, there is a prospect, And your hope will not be cut off.

My answer to those evil blood sucking hateful demons who work for and with Satan is that my hope is built on Jesus' love, in His strength and on His promise of eternal salvation and restoration. I believe we are His children and He, our Shepherd, will leave the ninety nine who are safe to find those of us who are lost. He will bring us back to that place where we are safe with Him.

• Luke 15:4                                                                                                                                               “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?

So Satan is an absolute hopeless loser, and he must WATCH OUT !!

Thank You Jesus, for all You did for us on the cross, and since you rose again, for all You are doing for us every day of our lives here on earth, amen.

The Joy of the Lord is our strength!

Nehemiah 8:10 tells of this wonderful truth. Knowing Jesus and believing that following Him is the right and only way to live, allows you to feel and live in His strength!

Are you thirsty? Do you need to be set free?

If so, then turn to the only One who can quench your deep inner thirst to give you:

• freedom from condemnation;
• freedom from anxiousness;
• freedom from your past;
• freedom to worship;
• freedom to love without condition;
• freedom to forgive without the 'buts or ifs';
• freedom to rest in His unconditional love;
• freedom to trust that His way is the only way;
• freedom to believe in His truths;
• freedom from a thirst that only He can quench!

He covers; He protects; He saves!

The God we serve, serves us more than we could ever serve Him. He loves more than we could ever love Him. He wants to save us more than we deserve, even to the point of dying a gruesome death on the cross! He covers and protects us and yearns for us to lean in, lean on, and trust in His will over that of darkness. He is our redeeming light and we need to follow Him to live in His eternity.

It takes love - to love Him without doubt,; hope - to hope in and trust in His salvation; and faith - to believe that He is the only way!
